“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.”
- Ian McLaren
My Approach
My therapeutic approach is based in Attachment and Psychodynamic theories. I believe that our experiences in life play a pivotal role in how we approach what is in front of us. Through the exploration of our past and the relationships in our past, we can gain a fuller understanding of the root causes of our pain. I enjoy doing the slow, long work of uncovering the root of the issue.
Services Provided
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, shame, relational issues, multicultural issues, pornography addiction, life-stage transitions, as well as spiritual issues. To clients who are interested, I am able to integrate spirituality in the therapeutic work.
Clients I Work With
I work with children, adolescents, adults, and couples.

About Jonathan
My journey to becoming a therapist began in my previous career as a Pastor. During my 10 years in ministry, I realized that I gravitated towards providing care on an individual level rather than on a corporate level. I sat with countless people, hearing their stories and the pain of what they were going through. In those sacred moments I realized that we all need a place to process our pain and wounds in safety. This is what I desire to provide for my clients, a safe space to explore without judgement.
